Reviews
PreSchool-K-This simple book opens up like an onion on multiple readings, exposing layer upon layer of learning. First, it's just a counting book, but then readers will notice that each page rhymes, and then that each page features a hat from a different occupation. Then on the next reading, children will find that each store is different, each pig is different, and each bug is different. With its bright watercolor illustrations to complement the clever story, this title could be used to generate a wealth of discussion and/or writing activities.
